Hello ARLIS-L:
We are in the process of looking through our CD-Rom and video collections here and I am wondering if any of you have some helpful, quick advice for me. What do you do with the *nearly obsolete* media? It still is useful but can be problematic to run on Windows 2000 / XP/ Mac OSX, etc. We have some gems that will soon be incompatible with our operating systems (or so I am presuming) and at the same time, we need to make space in our collections. While it is possible to replace some of these titles/resources with newer versions, there are still plenty of other titles that will fall out of step with the changing platforms. To withdraw or not to withdraw...that is the question!
So, if you have any words for wisdom for me, I would be very grateful to receive them and will gladly compile my responses for those interested or experiencing similar issues.
Cordially, Hannah
