get it at a bargain price in the ARLIS silent auction.  I've donated 
copy No. VI of the Limited Edition to the auction, so check it out 
and place your bid.

Although it's numbered VI, it is just the second copy finished. Had 
to do that because yesterday was the deadline for sending it to the 
auction. Copy No. I went to ARLIS co-founder Judith Hoffberg, who 
selected the text for this edition, and in whose honor the umbrella 
was created.

This week two ARLIS members wrote to me that they couldn't order it 
at the current pre-publication discount price (in effect through May 
31) because their budgets were exhausted and the new budget begins 
July 1. Apparently this is not unusual. So I am making a SPECIAL 
OFFER for ARLIS libraries:

If you order before May 31, you will get it reserved at the current 
discount price, and I will send an invoice July 1. To get this done 
you must write "July 1 invoice-ARLIS" in the "comments" field on the 
order form (last line of the form) at http://minsky.com/umbrellas.htm#order

The price goes up on all orders placed after June 1 and again on 
September 1, if copies remain available.
