Colleagues,
We are about to begin a digitization project to scan, and make available through our library catalog Watsonline, 164 Macbeth Gallery exhibition checklists and clippings from 1906-1944. The Macbeth Gallery was founded in 1892 in New York City and was the first to be devoted exclusively to American art.
We have searched various sources for existing digital material -- among them Google Books, WorldCat, Archives of American Art -- and as one of our final checks we'd like to know if anyone out there in the community is working or planning on producing digital versions of Macbeth Gallery material.
Please reply off-list. Thanks very much --
Best,
Dan Lipcan
