Greetings, all.
I am looking for venues for the Guild's 2009-10 traveling exhibition.
This juried show will present 50-60 works including traditional
bindings, artists' books, broadsides, decorated paper and historical
models. A full color catalog with photos and written documentation of
each piece will accompany the exhibit.
Each venue will have the show for approximately two months, and will
be responsible for installation in locked cases, insuring the show
while in their possession, plus a fee to cover insured shipping and
other exhibition expenses. Each site will also be responsible for
local publicity.
Samples of work in previous Guild shows can be seen online at
http://palimpsest.stanford.edu/byorg/gbw/exhibit.shtml
Please contact me if you are interested in hosting this exhibit, and
please forward this message to anyone you know who may be able to
host the show.
A prospectus will be available in July, 2007.
Best wishes,
Karen Hanmer
