Hello everyone,

It is my pleasure to announce the 2007 ARLIS/NA Research Awards. The Worldwide 
Books Award for Publications goes to Martin Aurand, Librarian and Archivist, 
School of Architecture, Carnegie Mellon University, for his fine book, The Spectator and the Topographical City, (Pittsburgh: University of Pittsburgh Press, 2006).

The Worldwide Books Award for Electronic Resources will be shared this year 
between Jeanne Brown, Head, University of Nevada, Las Vegas Architecture 
Studies Library, for her excellent resource, "Las Vegas Architects and Buildings Database"

and to Susan Craig, Head Librarian, Murphy Art and Architecture Library, University of Kansas, Lawrence, KS, for her outstanding work, "Biographical Dictionary of Kansas Artists (active before 1945)."

There were no recipients of the H.W. Wilson Foundation Research Grant this year. Congratulations to the three ARLIS/NA Research Award recipients!
