Hi Kay
With regards to digital collections we would definitely recommend
Bridgeman Education (although we could be accused of bias!). We started
this service about a year ago and it is an innovative educational image
resource for scholars and academics across a broad spectrum of
faculties. The database offers teachers and students
a unique and flexible way to access and use art-historical and cultural
imagery for academic use.
Bridgeman Education is a subscription-based, annually renewable website
drawing from the Bridgeman Art Library’s own archives. It permits the
institution’s staff and enrolled students to keyword search, download
and use over 200,000 images, ranging from pre-historical artifacts to
modern art and representing the visual cultures of the world’s
civilizations. The emphasis is on simplicity, rapid access and
organization. The database grows on a daily basis and subscribers have
access to this ever increasing archive. Images can be assembled within
the provided powerpoint or integrated within the user's own software.
Go to www.bridgemaneducation.com or e-mail [log in to unmask]

and to register for a free trial.
We are Bridgeman Education and we approve this message!

THE LATEST COLLECTION TO JOIN THE BRIDGEMAN ART LIBRARY:
AMERICAN ANTIQUARIAN SOCIETY, Worcester, MA, USA
The American Antiquarian Society (AAS) is both a learned society and national research library of pre-twentieth century American history and culture. Their mission is to collect, preserve, and make available for study the printed record of what is now the United States of America from first European settlement through the year 1876.
The library collections encompass three million books, pamphlets, newspapers, periodicals, graphic arts materials and manuscripts housed on twenty-five miles of shelving. All fifty U.S. states and a good portion of Canada and the British West Indies are included in this preeminent repository, which was founded in 1812 as the third oldest historical society and the first to be national in scope.
The Bridgeman Art Library is the world's leading source of fine art images.
Our website has now been completely redesigned to make finding the perfect image easier than ever. New features include: thousands more images, an easy-to-use design, 'Lightbox' facilities for improved searching, 'My Bridgeman' section for managing your images, inspiring selections by Bridgeman Picture Researchers, a full listing of all our museums, artists and collections and comprehensive online help.
