Ann,
Is there any reason why the reviews couldn't be published both online
and in Art Documentation? Six times online for expediency and WWW
access and in the print journal for archiving, particularly within
libraries. Perhaps this could be tried during a two-year grace period?
I know that this could be seen as duplication or not cost effective
but I think there are some serious issues regarding archiving as well
as the fact that online publications still do not hold the weight of
a print journal in most academic circles, peer-reviewed or not. Some
of us who are ARLIS members are not situated within a library but
within academic departments.
