Paula: if you search the Avery Index to Architectural Periodicals and use
"orphanages" as a subject word, there are 69 hits. Some of these
citations are for articles that are historical, some are dealing with
conversions of older orphanages, but many of them are profiles of contemporary
orphanges, many of them in developing countries. Perhaps some of these would
be helpful to your patron in conceving a design.
