Hey all,
I've noticed that several times, people have wanted to show photos to
illustrate something or to get help with a painting or object - which
makes sense, seeing as art is our main focus. Of course, as you
know, we aren't able to use attachments. I have some suggestions.
Since this is a common need for this visual community, it seems like
it would make sense to have a common "ARLIS LSV Images Blog"
specifically for posting list-serve photos. Blogger allows easy
posting of photos for free, and ARLIS members could be given a common
password.
The alternative, would be to use a service like PhotoBucket, an image
hosting service: you upload your photo, copy the link, and then you
could put the link in your list-serve message and we could all visit
that link.
