Calling on the collective wisdom:
In processing an archival collection, I came across a batch of WWI era
posters. Included in the same section were some French posters that I
assume are of the same vintage. Working at a public library, I don't know
when I'll be able to devote the time it would take me to translate and
then get myself to the resources I would need to research these from
scratch (though that does sound like my idea of a good time). I'm hoping
some of you could at least give me some idea of where to start.
There are four posters, with info as follows at the bottom:
1] Societe des Minot, Paris - Visa no. 828"
2] J. Cussac, Imp. Paris - Visa no 11,922
3] " " - 7,933
4] ' " - 12,131
Any info or pointers on where to get info would be appreciated. If you
could respond to my work email that would be great, but I will also watch
the list.
Thanks,
John Beekman
