General Summary:
Assist the Director in all aspects of the daily operation, development and
maintenance of the Art History Visual Resources Collection, which includes
expanding, cataloguing and maintaining the visual data collections,
operating and maintaining slide projectors and digital media, and overseeing
and scheduling of student work; interacts professionally with faculty,
students, university personnel and staff to provide courteous and effective
customer service.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in art history; Masters degree in
library science desirable; work experience in a visual resources library
preferred; ability to operate Mac environment with proficiency in word
processing, data organization programs, Photoshop, and FileMaker Pro
preferred; working knowledge of web page maintenance, internet and e-mail
programs required; basic photographic skills preferred; knowledge of French,
German and/or other foreign languages desirable; reliable and ability to
work independently required; ability to interact professionally with
faculty, students, university personnel and staff to provide courteous and
