Dear colleagues,
I am posting this on behalf of Barbara Rockenbach and Javanica Curry in
ARTstor's Library Relations team.
We wanted to let you know that ARTstor representatives will be attending
the upcoming College Art Association (CAA) Conference in Boston, February
22-25. Some of you - and some of your faculty and/or graduate students -
may be attending this conference and we thought it would be a good
opportunity for interested individuals to learn more about ARTstor and see
the Digital Library. Please feel free to forward this message to
colleagues in your art history program as appropriate.
ARTstor will have a suite at the CAA conference, February 22-25.
Representatives from Library Relations, User Services and Collection
Development will be available to answer any questions and provide
demonstrations of the Digital Library and content in ARTstor. ARTstor
staff will be available for personal meetings to discuss any particular
questions or concerns. Individuals who are interested in taking advantage
of this opportunity should ideally schedule an appointment in advance by
contacting Library Relations at [log in to unmask] . We will be
available at the following times and our contact information is provided
below.

the Digital Library.
In addition, the CAA group, Art Historians Interested in Pedagogy and
Technology (AHPT), has invited ARTstor to participate in its business
meeting. ARTstor User Services will demonstrate the Offline Image Viewer.
The business meeting begins on Friday at 5:30 PM with the OIV demonstration
starting at approximately 6:40 PM. The meeting will be held at the Hynes
Convention Center , Room 203. AHPT has opened the meeting to anyone
interested in learning about pedagogy and technology. We hope that you will
be able to participate.
You may also be interested to know that ARTstor is offering a remote
demonstration of ARTstor via software called WebEx prior to CAA. This
demonstration will take place February 15 at 3PM EST. Since space is
limited you may register in advance for this demonstration at
http://artstor.webex.com for the specified date and time (locate Art
History Demonstration on the “Upcoming” tab), or please feel free contact
us should there be any questions.
We are looking forward to the opportunity to speak with you about ARTstor
and gain valuable feedback about our resource. We hope we will be able to
meet you at the conference. Please do not hesitate to contact us in
ARTstor Library Relations anytime.
