I have been looking at http://www.artsconnected.org/search/, the search tool offered jointly by the Minneapolis Institute of Arts and the Walker Art Center which queries records for the art collections and the library collections in combination.
I would be interested to know if there other comparable examples of online metasearch tools, i.e. not museum/library institutions where the collections are all catalogued in a single database, such as the Pierpont Morgan Library, but instances of an umbrella search being offered across a library database and a collections database.
Thanks in advance.
