Dear Collective Wisdom,
A graduate student in our department is looking for any and all examples
of imagery of St. Francis of Assisi in Jesuit Churches, from around 1500
to the late Baroque era -- preferably in Italy or France. She has
checked all of the usual sources -- Art Index, BHA, books on St.
Francis, Jesuits, etc. She is now looking through the "Touring Club
Italiano" series of guidebooks, but with little success. Does anyone
know of any other research tools that might point her to additional
examples?
Many thanks in advance for any information provided.
