Does anyone know of a (legal) workaround to using Art Spiegelman's 1994
"Maus" CD on modern machines?
Background: The CD-ROM contains a program documenting the background
and creation of Art Spiegelman's "Maus" based on the author's father's
experience in the Holocaust. The program was created in 1994 and
requires Apple's Hypercard Player, which in turn requires Apple OS 9 or
earlier. The CD has not been updated for use on more recent operating
systems, or (that I can find)is available in another media format.
Currently at Duke, we are maintaining a legacy MAC machine to play this,
but this is not a good long-term solution.
Can anyone tell me of other solutions to making "Maus" available to your
users?
Many thanks
