There are still a few seats available in the November 5th Book Arts
workshop, " Hardbound Album with Accordion Spine" being offered by the
University of Illinois Graduate School of Library and Information
Science. This workshop is open to all interested in the Book Arts.
NEW OFFERING Bookbinding Workshop: Hardbound Album with Accordion Spine
taught by Bea Nettles
November 5 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
This is a specialty binding that expands slightly to allow the insertion
of photographs and other attached items. The book will be blank on the
inside to allow materials to be added at the participants' leisure.
Covers will be hardbound in cloth with decorative endsheets.
Workshop fee: $95 includes materials
Note: GSLIS staff, students, and alumni, as well as previous Book Arts
workshop attendees, will be given a 10% discount.
