_Dictionary of Art (Grove Art Online)_ is an extensive and scholarly art 
encyclopedia that provides entries on the visual arts from prehistory 
through the present. Entries often include bibliographies of additional 
books and journal articles.

_Biography__ Resource Center-_ is a resource that provides thousands of 
biographies from respected sources. For some biographies full-text 
magazine articles are offered.

_ProFile_ is a search engine is used to locate architecture firms and 
businesses in the U.S. It is derived from the complete ProFile database 
and ProFile, the Architects Sourcebook, published by CMD and The 
American Institute of Architects (AIA).

_Sweet's Product Marketplace_ - This database provides detailed product 
information for the construction industry. Please note that additional 
information is provided in the print and CD-ROM versions of this product 
available in the Gimbel Library.

_Thomas Register_ - This extensive database lists companies and products 
manufactured in North America. Many online company catalogs and websites 
are provided.

_design and applied arts index (daai)-_ abstracts and indexes articles

_Art Full Text and Art Index Retrospective -_ abstracts and indexes 
articles from art, architecture and design-related magazines, yearbooks, 
and museum bulletins. Full text of over a hundred articles from 1997.

_Bibliography of the History of Art (BHA)_ - abstracts and indexes 
articles related to European art from the 4th Century AD to the present, 
and American art from European discovery to the present. BHA is the 
successor to Art Literature International (RILA). Coverage: 1991 -

_EBSCO_ Contains full text and citations for articles from over 750 
journals and newspapers in all subjects, as well as a database for images.

_Lexis-Nexis_- provides extensive indexing to newspaper and magazine 
articles. Coverage dates go as far back as the early 1980's in full-text 
for some resources and back to the 1970's in abstract for others.

_ProQuest_- indexes thousands of current periodicals and newspapers, 
containing full-text articles from 1986.
