An instructor at our college is seeking to widely distribute a call for
papers for an interdisciplinary conference. He has asked me for help in
identifying electronic discussion lists that reach a wide range of
fields.
He's looking for lists aimed towards both visual art-related themes
(visual artists, art historians, art educators) as well as filmmakers,
musicians, anthropologists, and sociologists.
I've been conducting searches in various search engines but haven't had
much luck finding useful guides for electronic discussion groups
(although I did find a link to an apparent long-dead URL for a guide to
art-related lists that had at one time been posted on the old ARLIS
site).
Any suggestions or useful guides you may know of would be much
appreciated.
