The Nova Scotia College of Art and Design (NSCAD University) invites
applications for:
Librarian: Visual Resources Collection

APPOINTMENT: July 1, 2005
The University is seeking an outstanding candidate who will be responsible
for the management of the Visual Resources Collection and the process of
digitizing its visual resources for web access. An extensive knowledge of
digital asset management practices and applications, along with demonstrated
supervisory and administrative skills are requisites. An art history degree,
a Master’s degree in Library or Information Science, and three years of
experience with visual resource collections are required. A master’s degree
in art history will be considered an asset.
This is a three year appointment, renewable for continuing appointments.
Salary will be dependent upon qualifications and in accordance with the
Faculty Salary Grid. All qualified applicants are encouraged to apply;
however, Canadian and permanent residents will be given priority.
