Pratt-SILS is pleased to share with ARLIS our invitation to to graduate students and librarians in the arts and humanities to apply for Florence 2005.
It gives us great pleasure to announce the Pratt-SILS 2nd Summer Institute in Florence!
Dr. Poma-Swank and I invite you to apply for the Florence 2005 summer program which will take place from May 28 - June 18. We will be accepting 16 students. This is surely a unique opportunity to advance your education and experience Florence in the context of international and arts librarianship and work with leading librarians and curators in Florence. Tuition for the Florence program is the same as a Pratt-SILS 3-credit course; the cost of accommodations is 50 Euros per night for 21 nights at the beautiful Hotel Bonafacio - this includes tax and breakfast - also, arrangements have been made to provide free and immediate entrance to all museums and libraries in Florence. RT Airfare to Florence is arranged individually.

This season, the program's 2nd, has been expanded to 3 weeks to offer greater opportunities for study and research, and now includes seminar sessions at the Uffizi Library given by Dr. Poma-Swank in collaboration with the Library's Director, Claudio Di Benedetto.
