Dear ADSL Division colleagues,
In preparation for the next Update column, I would like to get
some feedback from you. At our annual ARLIS meeting, in New York, the
issue of book and magazine mutilation was raised as a column topic of
interest. Mutilation is a problem all libraries face, but it seems
especially problematic for art and design school libraries. What
strategies have you devised to counteract mutilation in your library,
and, have you been successful in your attempts? It would be helpful to
share our experiences with one another, and to especially to hear about
what has worked. So please, let me hear from you (off list).
I would also like to receive any news relating to you or your
institution that you would like to share (position changes,
publications, grants, awards, expansions, etc.).
I'll need responses by June 4th. Thanks in advance for your
input!
Ellie
