Dear ARLIS-ers,
I just received notice of this NYC event from one of our industrial design
faculty members, Rama Chorpash, who is involved in the Skate Circle in
Central Park:

nnial_april17_04.html
Rama said this project is being done "with 'assume vivid astro focus' and
Los Super Elegantes. This project was commissioned by the New York Public
Art Fund in collaboration with the Whitney Biennial," and to bring skates if
you have them! I'm sure most of us going to the conference will be in
conference sessions during the Saturday performance, but the work remains on
view until May 4.
