Dear Arlis-L:
I sent out the following letter to all of our exchange partners via regular
mail. No doubt many of you are already on that list and have already
received it. However, it occurred to me that other institutions may not be
on our list but would like to be on our list. Therefore, if you would return
the requested information to me, I will add you to the list.
Sincerely yours,
William A. Peniston, Ph.D.

Dear Exchange Partners:
We would like to thank you for all of the catalogs that you have
sent to us in the past year. These catalogs are a tremendous addition to our
library, which is used by our curators, scientists, and educators in
developing the Museum's exhibitions and programs.
In exchange, we have sent you our catalogs as they are produced, but
since we have not had an active publication program, we have not sent out
many catalogs in the past few years.
However, this year we announced the publication of our newest
catalog, Great Pots: Contemporary Ceramics from Function to Fantasy by
Ulysses Grant Dietz, and asked you to request a copy if interested. Most of
you did request a copy, and we were only too happy to send it to you.
In the future, we have decided that this is the best way of handling
our exchange relationships. As we produce new catalogs, we will announce
them and ask you to request them.
Toward that end, we would like to update our exchange list, and we
would especially like to include e-mail addresses. Therefore, in order to
remain on our exchange list, please complete the form on the back on this
letter.
Thank you for your cooperation.
