Dear Colleagues:
Dr. Frank Toker, author of the recently published book, FALLINGWATER
RISING, will speak about his book on Book-TV soon. He will speak about
the book at the Smithsonian in Washington on January 28. That will be
taped and nationally broadcast on C-SPAN2 (carried on Pittsburgh cable
channel 61) on two evenings: Saturday, January 31 at 11 p.m., and the
next night, Sunday, February 1 at 8:00 p.m.
The talk will then be available through all of February and March for
replay via the web site www.booktv.org/history/archive.asp. Book-TV
supplies free software that will enable you to play the talk through
your computer any time you want.
You may remember that Dr. Toker spoke about his research on Fallingwater
when he was the keynote speaker for the membership luncheon at the
ARLIS/NA 2000 conference in Pittsburgh.
Enjoy!
