Dear Colleagues,
The University of Maryland Art Library is considering getting a public
access color copier / printer / scanner.
If you have a public access copier / printer scanner, I am interested in
knowing about your experience with its use. Specifically:
a. How much do you charge for color copies?
b. Do the number of copies that are made by the public recover your
leasing cost?
c. Does your color copier require special maintenance / care? Have you
had technical problems with it?
d. Is scanning a popular feature? Do you have a way to recover
scanning costs?
e. What make / model copier do you have?
f. If you are in a university or a college, is a public access color
copier available elsewhere in the library system?
Please respond directly to me.
Thank you for sharing your experiences.
