Hello All,
The CAA Newsletter for May contains several items which may be of
interest to ARLIS members. First, CAA has issued a statement on the
looting in Iraq. Also of interest, the 2003-2007 Board Members have
been announced, among them Christine L. Sundt, Visual Resources Curator
at the University of Oregon. Finally, I want to direct your attention
to the letters to the editor. Printed are a letter, signed by many CAA
members, regarding Rizzoli Publishing Group's recent publication of
Sognando Palestina, which the signatories describe as hate literature.
Rizzoli's reply, objecting to accusations of anti-Semitism, states that
the novel is a fictional story reflecting a desire for peace.
