Reminder:
June 15 is the registration deadline for early bird rates for ARLIS*West,
the ARLIS/NA Western Regional Conference. Join your colleagues for a rare
summertime opportunity to share and learn in one of America's most liveable
cities.
The conference, sponsored by the Society's Northwest, Northern California,
Southern California, and Mountain West chapters, is organized around the
theme, "Artworks/Bookworks: Craft and Documentation in the Digital Age." The
conference features informative sessions, by distinguished speakers,
covering book arts as well as digital formats.
A keynote event is a trip to the historic Timberline Lodge, sited on Mt.
Hood, a Depression-era handcrafted masterpiece. Timberline's curator will
describe the documentation used to preserve and maintain its artifacts.
