Thanks to everyone who has sent me wonderfully engaging responses to my
earlier messages.
In turn I want to thank everyone who sent to the listserv articles and
information for us all to weep over and add to our just-in-case files.
This morning I listened to public radio's Connection with Dick Gordon
broadcasting from the museum in Baghdad
(http://www.theconnection.org/shows/2003/04/20030416_a_main.asp) and read
a Boston Globe op-ed piece "Iraq's lost cultural treasures" by BU
archaeology professor, Paul Zimansky, and Elizabeth Stone, Stony Brook.
Neither minces words about American responsibility for this disaster.
