Because of the popularity of the Baltimore Rowhouses Houses tour, we have added a second tour for Wednesday, March 26 from 9-11 a.m. It should be listed on the registration form beginning tomorrow.
If you have not registered, please remember that next Saturday, February 15 is the deadline for early registration. Also, don't delay in making room reservations as they are expecting to sell out.
I received requests for information about travel to D.C. People at the information table will be able to help you, but you might want to check out the transportation information on the conference web site at
http://arlis2003.library.jhu.edu/2003ConfBasic.html#trans
There is information about Amtrak and MARC trains and car rentals. The MARC train is the most efficient and inexpensive way to travel to D.C., but it only runs Monday-Friday. On the weekends, you would need to go by rental car, Amtrak or bus.
We are looking forward to seeing you all in March.
