I am interested in finding out how other libraries (particularly museum
libraries), are dealing with the issue of putting links to other sites on
their websites. Is there anyone who is doing this? If so, do you have a
policy regarding these links, and what criteria do you use for determining
which sites get linked to? I am particularly interested in the situation
where you may be asked by an individual or organization to link to their
website. Is anyone, as an alternative, cataloging websites in their online
catalog? I would also be interested in hearing from anyone who has a
specific policy to NOT add such links to their website.
Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated--
Thanks,
