The following is an announcement from the ARLIS/DC-MD-VA chapter of
ARLIS/NA
In the city of Baltimore:
the first permanent monument to George Washington was built
Samuel Morse established the world's first telegraph line between Baltimore
and Washington
the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra began as the first municipal orchestra
supported by public funds
Baltimore is a city of many "first" moments. Now you can be the first to
own an ARLIS/NA Baltimore conference T-shirt or pair of boxer shorts!
Baltimore's own Kathy Cowan's exquisitely designed conference logo has been
silk-screened onto T-shirts and boxers to commemorate the upcoming
conference in "Charm City."
Convenient, comfortable and chic, the ARLIS/NA Baltimore 2003 conference
T-shirts and boxer shorts make the perfect ensemble for visiting the
downtown sights, take the worry out of packing, and are a great way to
remember your experience at the conference.
The sale of the T-shirts and boxers is a fundraising event for the
ARLIS/DC-MD-VA chapter of ARLIS/NA. The sale begins on the 16th of December
and ends on the 14th of February. All items can be purchased directly
through the ARLIS/DC-MD-VA chapter of ARLIS/NA, and will be waiting for you
in your registration packets at the conference in Baltimore.
