Thank you for responding to my inquiry. As promised, here is a summary of
your responses:
24 responses were received from art museum libraries
20 museums did not require a fee for the public to use their libraries
1 museum allowed members only to use their library
3 charged non-members a small fee to use their libraries
Some responded "most of our users are Museum members already" and some
responded that they were considering or had considered some sort of a fee
but had not come to any conclusions as of yet. Most libraries only charged
fees for the usual such as photocopying, photography etc.
