Thanks to Jonathan Franklin's speedy work, the October issue of Update is
up on the Society Web site. This issue features reports from the Museum
Library and Visual Resources divisions and the Architecture,
Cataloging, and Reference and Information Services sections, as well as a
the Women and Art Round Table. Subjects include openings and renovations of
museum libraries, proposals for the World Trade Center site, exhibitions of
women artists, and new Library of Congress subject headings in art. The
issue also includes chapter reports from New York and the Southeast, as
well as Amy Ciccone's reviews of mysteries for art libraries, this time
concentrating on titles whose plots involve World War II.
Print copies will be sent to those who requested them later.
