A researcher remembers visiting an east-coast museum with a number of
Gauguin sculptures in the permanent collection. Can anyone help to identify
the museum?
He believes the collection was located in a moderately-sized city between
New York and Boston. He thinks it is not the Wadsworth, the Boston Athenaeum
or the Clark Institute.
I checked a 1963 book on Gauguin sculpture but found no likely collections.
Thanks again.
