projects, texts, essays & fiction, was edited by Phil Mariani and Brian
Wallis. The special combined issue is a folder containing fourteen artists'
chap books investigating the "viability of a politically engaged form of
writing." It includes work by Kathy Acker, Roberta Allen, Nan Becker,
Theresa Hak Kyng Cha, Sarah Charlesworth, John Fekner, Matthew Geller,
Silvia Kolbowski, Harry Kondoleon, Gary Indiana, Phil Mariani, Richard
