Hi all,
I need some of your wonderful input. A few years ago when Art Index
became Art Abstracts, the retrospective was done separately (as I
remember) and had a different search mechanism, etc. I remember some
discussion about the retrospective, and some complaint about the search,
and the fact that one had to search the two databases separately. A
colleague at one of our consotial institutions has let us know that the
retrospective is now available for a one-time only price, but it is
still not cheap, and I told our acquistions librarian that I would send
a note to the arlis list for some advice--do those of you who have the
retrospective find that it is worth it--is the necessity for repeating
the search a pain> have you heard anything about a future move to
combine the two? Or am i out of the loop, and has this already
happened-?-
I know it is a short cut to ask arlis instead of go to Wilson, but I
just wanted some user advice...
Thanks in advance!
