One thought - if any of the valuable books could be rare or collectible,
the value will decrease if you mark them or paste anything into them. But
then you'd have to put them in a safer place than regular stacks, so they
might not need bookplates anyway. (We use bookplates to honor a book
donor, rarely for any other reason.) Aloha,
