1. Announcement and Call for Papers
The ARLIS/ANZ Conference 2002 will be held in Auckland, 26-28 April,
at Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tamaki and the
University of Auckland. Submissions of papers are invited for this
three-day conference which brings together art information professionals
from the South Pacific region. The conference will include tours of
local museums, art galleries and libraries that specialise in the visual
arts.
Please send your proposals for papers to the Conference Committee by
23 December 2001, to either:

2. Conference programme
Proposed conference sessions include:
Indigenous art information resource
Collection access developments, with an emphasis on digitisation
projects
Provenance research
Speakers will include:
Annamaria Poma-Swank from the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York
on collection development in art museum libraries
Roger Blackley from Victoria University of Wellington on art
research using "old fashioned"

Institutional membership covers two registrations at member's rate.
