Dear ARLIS subscribers:
First of all thanks for the quick answers about librarians in Turkey. As I
do no remember the name of the librarian I am searching for I will be more
specific in my demand. This message has two purposes:
1. Sometime ago a National Library of Turquey Librarian wrote about a
archive the National Library has done on contemporary turkish artists. This
consists of 3000 currents artists. I am interested in knowing more about
this archive.
2. That fact is that I am currently working on an archive on contemporary
peruvian artists. These archives are currently in vertical files that are
updated weekly and consist of newspaper cuttings, catalogues, etc. I have
finished, at last, to digitize all of them in my PC. Now I am working on
what should have to be the next step(s) to do. For example, I am planning to
select (with the help of the curators of the Museo de Arte de Lima) a
certain number of images (from catalogues, posters, etc) corresponding to
each artist and to digitize (is this an english word?) them.
I know there many other ways our patrons in Museo de Arte de Lima could
benefit from this archive.
Could you help me with this!!!
