Please join the ARLIS Southern California Chapter at our upcoming program
in Santa Barbara, November 2nd and 3rd, at the Santa Barbara Museum of Art
and the University of California, Santa Barbara. The ARLIS/SC business
meeting will take place at the Museum on Friday, November 2, 2001, in the
afternoon. Northern California Chapter members, as well as other ARLIS/NA
members, are more than welcome to attend our program. A registration form
will follow with details about directions, parking, accommodations, and the
catered lunch offered on Saturday, November 3rd. See the below tentative
schedule, and save the date!

editions, Harry and Sandra Liddell Reese set type by hand, print
with hand presses, and produce art projects that feature their

collaborations with poets, artists, writers, and

University Art Museum Paul Tuttle Designs
Paul Tuttle's design work, including furniture,
architecture and sculptural constructions, dating from the
1950s to the present. Arranged chronologically and filling four
of the Museum's galleries, this comprehensive survey will
feature 60 unique designs, mostly for a variety of seating
and tables, produced in the United States and in

The Architecture & Design Collection (ADC) in the
University Art Museum at the University of California,
Santa Barbara (UCSB) is a growing repository of architectural
records containing over 400,000 original drawings as well as
specifications, office correspondence, manuscript material,
historic photographs, scrapbooks, sketch books and
three- dimensional objects (architectural models, fragments,
and furniture) representing the work of over 350 designers from
