below.  The ARLIS Michigan Chapter recently dissolved and joined the
Midstates Chapter.  I would like to take this opportunity to extend a

Parking is free in the underground parking garage on the museum grounds. (As
you enter       the museum you will receive a parking voucher from the
security guard to turn in together with your parking ticket when you leave
the parking garage.)

Registration with juice and pastries in the Board Room  (Note: since the
Museum does not have a catering license, it is not allowed to serve coffee
or tea to non-employees. Please feel free to bring your own.)

Arlis/Midstates business meeting

Boxed lunch  & visit the museum collection or the gift shop (on your own)

Tour of the Taos Art gallery by Dr. James Nottage, Vice President and Chief
Curatorial officer

Presentation and tour of the library

Optional: Tour of the exhibition "Gifts to the Tsars 1500-1700. Treasures
from the Kremlin" at the Indianapolis Museum of Art, 1200 West 38th Street.
(The museum grounds are located at the NW corner of Dr. Martin Luther King
Jr. Drive/Michigan Road and 38th Street.). You can participate in this tour
at the special ARLIS rate of $10.00. Please make your reservations directly

Directions from the Eiteljorg Museum to the IMA, a 15-minute drive:
When leaving the parking garage, turn right onto Washington Street, a
one-way traffic street. Make three immediate left turns at the traffic
lights to get back onto northbound West Street. Stay in the left lane and
follow the sign to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street. Turn right (north)
onto Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street. Turn left onto 38th street. The
entrance to the museum grounds is on your right. Parking is free on the
museum grounds.)
