Gaudeamus igitur. Medievalists will rejoice at the change which allows
the addition of centuries to headings for medieval art. We have been
using non-LC headings for years and years because we wanted to bring out
century dates for our quite extensive collection of material about
medieval art. Sometimes change is a good thing.

P.S. Kay's guide to changes in subject headings is a handy thing to pass
on to your reference librarians.
