At the Cataloging Problems Discussion Group at the L.A. conference it was agreed that a monthly list of new art and architecture subject headings might be posted to the list. Here's a list of such headings compiled from the Library of Congress weekly lists of March 2001. I'll include headings for buildings without knowing whether they've been established for architectural significance, as historic sites, scenes of bombings, or whatever. I realize this will make the thrice-yearly headings in Update less of a revelation, but the tradeoff is timeliness and inclusiveness. ($z for headings taking geographic subdivision)
