Downtown LA has so much to offer in terms of cultural diversity and the
tour of Little Tokyo is no different. This Los Angeles Conservancy
walking tour gives you a glimpse into the history of the area and
background on the Japanese American community. After the walking tour
concludes the tour itself continues with a visit to the Japanese
American National Museum.

Do you think you know what a session on Native American art will be
about? OK. So, do you think you know what a session on Contemporary
Native American art will be about? Could it be that "contemporary
art" and "Native American art" are mutually exclusive in your mind--or
in the mission statement of your institution? Get ready to open your
mind to our four Native American speakers. Of the four, three are
artists, three have Ph.D.s, one is an anthropologist, one is a
librarian, three are teachers, and each belongs to a different tribal
group. Guaranteed to shake up your preconceptions, no matter what they
are.
