Opportunity Listing for HANDS-ON-ART VISITING ARTIST PROJECT
Women's Studio Workshop has two residency opportunities for artists
Deadline: Application postmark April 1, 2001
Two combined Book Arts and Art-In-Education Residencies at Women's
Studio Workshop, Rosendale, NY, for emerging artists from different
regions of the country and/or diverse cultural backgrounds. WSW, located
90 miles north of New York City, has studios for printmaking,
papermaking, photography and book arts. Residencies support creation of
an artist' s book and artist participation in WSW's art-in-education
program. Residencies to take place September - October 2002 and March -
April 2003, pending NEA funding. Residency award includes $2,400
stipend, $450 materials budget, housing and unlimited studio access. For
