Dear Amazing ARLIS minds, One of the librarians in another department
here is working on a project regarding homelessness and sent us this
request. We're stumped. Does this ring a bell with any of you?:
"About 5 +/- years ago there was an installation in a museum in which a
man (a homeless man?) lived in a box in one of the museum galleries. It
had elements of performance art and social commentary. I have searched
AltaVista under several possibilites but with no luck. Does anyone
remember this exhibit, USA? Europe? Please do not do any elaborate
searches for this. Just on the off chance that someone else remembers it
and has a more detailed memory of it."
You can reply to the list or directly to me, whichever suits you.
Thanks, Heather
