The preliminary program for the fifth Museums and the Web conference
is now online. Featuring speakers from 26 countries, MW2001 highlights
innovations in web design and use from all types of museums
and galleries. An international Program Committee reviewed hundreds
of proposals, and selected a wide range of papers, panels and
demonstrations to ensure that MW2001 has something for all members of
the cultural heritage community.
* Pre-conference workshops sharpen your skills.
* Program sessions explore topics from online art to web site usability
and examine issues of concern to all types of museums,
large and small.
* Crit Rooms enable 'real time' review and evaluation of web sites.
* Demonstrations allow up close examination of how others
solved their web problems
* The Exhibit Hall profiles new technology and services
to help you build and manage your web site.
Full details about the Museums and the Web 2001 conference, including abstracts
