This message is being cross posted to three lists. I apologize for
any duplication.
I am looking for some assistance and I am hoping some of my
colleagues can help. I have recently been asked by the chair of the
Faculty Senate Library Committee to look into how professors
incorporate videotapes and other moving image media in their
teaching.
- Are these materials used strictly in the classroom to enhance
lectures?
- Are they put on reserve in the library so that students can view
them at
their convenience?
- Are professors using moving image media on instructional Web
sites?
- Are assignments based on the content of the materials?
- Are DVDs being actively acquired in your instructional
collections?
Please respond off list. Thanks so much for your help.
