A slide lecture
Photographer and Yale School of Art faculty member CATHERINE OPIE
has photographed sex radicals, gender benders, and Jesse Helms's worst
nightmare - performance artist Ron Athey - in addition to strip malls
and freeways.
The Respondent is the renowned feminist art historian LINDA NOCHLIN,
Lila Wallace Acheson Professor of Modern Art at NYU's Institute of
Fine Arts.
