The Bibliography of the History of Art (BHA) is part of the Getty
Research Institute.
BHA covers the current literature of European art from late Antiquity
to the present and American art from the European discoveries to the
present.
BHA is seeking an Editor. Duties include abstracting and indexing of
current art historical literature for inclusion in the BHA database.
An editor evaluates, scans, and summarizes the contents of original
documents, and selects and assigns vocabulary to the record.
Qualifications: Graduate degree in the history of art required; PhD
preferred. 3-4 years indexing and editing experience preferred.
Reading proficiency in 2 or more western European languages,
preferably German and Italian, required. Rapid readings skills and
excellent written skills required. Skill in operating personal
computer hardware required. Interest in bibliography and ability to
handle detail important.

Salary range starts at: $33,800
